pacification I don’t really have anything to say. I’m just tired of seeing the word “masturbation” in big letters at the top of the page. Adaptation of a joke I remember from elementary school: Q: How do you top a war? A: Tep on the brake, tupid!
Q: What do you get when you cross a GFP tagged C. Elegans with beer?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C_elegans Eww you’re drinking worms! 2005-12-27 19:42 -JACSorry in advance: this is about a 5 year-old “walkabout” entry. I was just wondering if you’ve ever heard anything from Carlos as in the “Mexican guy who now tests negative for HIV after two years of Tibetan medicine and a little self-transformation. He’s writing a book about it, I’ll let you know when it comes out.” Would love to read that book! 2005-12-29 20:25 ultHmm. I haven’t heard anything from him in a handful of years, though a Tibetan friend of mine worked for him at his Mexican restaurant in Dharamsala for a while. I googled a website by a Mexican guy who had recovered from AIDS using Tibetan Medicine in Dharamsala and written a book—same guy? I can’t tell for sure, but after comparing photos I think it must be. Here’s a photo of him last time I saw him: http://mundane.org/gallery/v/journal/014-1801.jpg.html The photos aren’t very high quality, but the red ribbon around his neck might be the give-away. Unfortunately the website (and the free book in Word format) is in Spanish. Hope that helps! 2006-01-07 22:45 -JACThanks :-) 2006-01-10 13:53 carloshey guys im carlos, the mexican you talk about you can e-mail me at vihlapuerta@yahoo.com.mx and yes! i was the owner of the mexican rest in dharamshala je je je 2006-01-14 09:25 anonymousult, i’m coming over. do you have a spare bed for a few weeks 2006-01-14 22:53 ultanonymous, yes, of course, drop by any time. so long as you like to drum, of course. 2006-01-18 08:41 anonymousI’m not sure how i am about drumming, is that ok? i’m peaceful and nice, and i think we’d have a good time hanging out. there is only a 5 percent chance i’d fly to the east coast and all, but if i did, you’d have a bed, no? 2006-01-20 08:39 ultPeaceful and nice is good. I don’t understand how we’d have a good time hanging out if you don’t drum, but I’ll give it a shot. Maybe you’ll learn to drum. I have a small futon that you can use as a bed. I only have one room which serves as my bedroom, living room, office, mudroom (that’s like a foyer in New England), and drumming room. The hard part would be that I work out of that room four days a week, so you’d have to be very very quiet. No drumming. But you could go have a beer at Harlow’s or something until I’m done with work, then you could go with me to pottery or drumming. 2006-01-25 08:36 anonymousI could learn to drum. You want me to drum, but don’t want me to drum. I could have a beer as such. What do you want? |
